The Johnny CAN Read and Write Award Program is a non-profit program that
began in 2010, as part of our desire to create a motivator that would inspire
our youth to tell stories via the written word. Last year we started with one
child, Sicily Samuel; next year, we hope to have five slots open for middle
school and high school students who would like to become published
authors.
Once a student is selected, all of the publishing costs are paid for by fund
raising events sponsored by Vision & Purpose Literary Group, LLC (V&P
Literary Group).
Interested students should complete our online application and review the
rules for participating in the contest to become a published author.
